As the building work appeared to be completed on Monday(1st September) I emailed Head of Development Services to ask if the building had been signed off and read on for the interesting responses I have received.

By neat trick of fate it is a year and two days ago that the Principal Planning officer sent out in response to neighbours enquiries an interesting document. It is the grant of planning permission for the erection of a shed to allow boat repairs under cover – ST024296UD.
In it one will notice that the planned height at the River Drive end is 12.2m. Whoever signed this off appears to have overlooked this important piece of information and that one of the conditions of the grant is that the development shall not vary from the approved plans.
